While we are not currently offering in-house composting services, we have partnered with leading composting companies in our market area to help you recycle food scraps and other organic materials into nutrient-rich compost.

- Reuse: The nutrient-rich compost is then used to enrich soil, promoting healthy plant growth and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.

To create nutrient-rich compost, it is essential to keep contaminants out of your compost bin. Please follow the list below to ensure you are composting the correct materials:
Accepted Materials:
- Fruit and vegetable scraps

- Cardboard (without tape or staples)
- Paper towels and napkins (unbleached)
Not Accepted:
- Plastic bags
- Styrofoam
- Glass
- Metal
- Pet waste
- Dairy products
- Meat or fish scraps
- Oily foods
